We are up in Michigan a day away from finishing a Permaculture course. We have four National Guardsmen here, a NYC lawyer, three engineers, a biologist, a graphic designer, a strawberry farmer, a forester, a weaver, a bunch of passionate young folks. Permaculture is not strictly for farmers and gardeners. Permaculture is for anyone with even an inkling of what it might mean to care for the earth, the people, and sharing the bounty with all. May we all cross the threshold into a system that works in so many astoundingly beautiful ways, if we work it.
